Clothes...Hi Merr!

Here's how I handle my laundry... Clothes I do once a week on either Monday or Tuesday depending on my work schedule. I find that the only way to keep up on the folding/putting away is to do it as each load comes out of the dryer. The girls put away their own clothes when they get home from school.

For sheets and towels - I do those on Saturdays when kids and hubby are home to help fold, put away, and re-make beds. This is also when I do things like dish towels or any other miscellaneous laundry accumulated during the week.

Most of the time I fold laundry in my guest room and just make piles on the bed. That way I'm not looking at the piles while I wait for the girls to get home!

I've got to get caught up on my blog!

KarenAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7444565457104802308.post-12165409995604601342008-02-12T09:05:00.000-05:002008-02-12T09:05:00.000-05:00I'm sorry you're not feeling well :( I also do la...I'm sorry you're not feeling well :( I also do laundry one day per week, most likely from apartment living in the past as well. I do it on Mondays, and I have a goal of having the last load of laundry in the washer by 1:30 pm. Throughout the morning I just pile all the clean laundry on the couch, and as a "reward" for folding that huge pile, I watch a dvd, like the Waltons or Little House on the Prairie. I don't have a laundry room, the machines are in the kitchen, so that might add incentive to get it all DONE in one day. I have the kiddos take their things to their rooms and put them away, and then I'm only responsible to putting away the baby's clothes, and mine and hubby's.
